Health & Safety
The Alberta Forest Products Association provides leadership and excellence to promote health and safety awareness, encourage continuous improvement of industry’s safety performance, and foster health and safety values. The Association sets standards and supports, develops, and connects members with resources, guidance, events, and training.
We work actively with the Workers’ Compensation Board – Alberta, Alberta Labour, the Industry Task Force Association and other agencies on health and safety issues and are available to assist our membership in meeting their performance goals.
As a Certifying Partner, the AFPA provides effective training, auditing resources including quality assessments, and issues Certificates of Recognition to employers.
