The following sample safety management system has been created in order to provide industrial railways with a sample program that meets the minimum regulatory requirements in the Province of Alberta.

The following sample rail exception letter has been drafted to provide industrial railways with a template from which exceptions from specific requirements under the Railway (Alberta) Act and Regulations can be granted.
