AFPA Hosts Korean Forest Research Experts

Posted by AFPA | June 3, 2016

The AFPA’s Lumber Grade Bureau recently hosted experts from the Korean Forest Research Institute. Dr. Kim and Dr. Shim attended a lumber grading school in Grande Prairie to learn about Canadian grading standards. Both participants passed their exam and attained National Lumber Grades Authority certificates. They also had the opportunity to take part in an inspection at Weyerhaeuser’s Grande Prairie facility. You can learn more about their visit on the Canada Wood Blog.
