Mountain Pine Beetle Letter

Posted by AFPA | November 6, 2018

The mountain pine beetle threatens to devastate Canada’s boreal forest from coast to coast. Not only are forestry jobs at risk, but there could also be considerable damage to our watersheds if our forests are decimated by this pest.

Alberta needs help from the Government of Canada to help stop the beetle. The Canadian Chamber of Commerce has written a letter outlining the extent of this challenge and the steps that we need to take to stop it.

You can help stop the beetle. Write your Member of Parliament and urge the Government of Canada to join the fight.
